and White House Project President Marie Wilson on Wednesday evening.
It took place inside the Motown Mansion in Detroit. The event was
titled "Add Women, Change Michigan" to examine the status
of women's leadership across ten U.S. sectors. Find out what Geena
Davis thought about starring as the first female president of the
United States in ABC's "Commander in Chief." What was
it like starring as Gloria Conway in the 2009 film "Accidents
Happen"? Davis founded the Geena Davis Institute on Gender
in Media. She is working hard to get more female film directors
in Hollywood. She also leads a campaign called Geena Takes Aim for

Wednesday when Hollywood actress Geena Davis and The White House
Project held a panel discussion. The White House Project is a national,
nonpartisian organization to advance a critical mass of diverse
women into leadership. Geena Davis played the female president of
the United States of America in the ABC TV show "Commander
in Chief." She says that more female directors are needed in
Hollywood.
