Perry. She talked about the importance of the auto show on a global
level and the efforts the city has made to embrace Green technology.
Perry is a Democrat who represents the 9th District of Los Angeles.
She is one of the confirmed candidates running for Los Angeles Mayor
in 2013. Perry welcomed Green Car Journal Editor and Publisher
Ron Cogan to the stage for the announcement of the 2013 Green Car
of the Year award. Her speech took place on the second media day,
Nov. 29.
The
Los Angeles Auto Show has the rare distinction of being
recognized by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs
d'Automobiles (OICA), one of only two in the U.S.
