for the 2012 L.A. Auto Show. Watch as Fiat reveals its new 500e,
500L and the 500L Trekking. The 2013 Fiat 500e will be the Italian
automaker's first electric vehicle in the American market. It is
expected to achieve 116 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) and 100
MPGe on the highway of battery-electric power. Therefore, it will
produce zero tailpipe emissions. It will provide more than 80 miles
of electric range on a single charge. It also produces 111 horsepower
and can be recharged in less than four hours with a 240-volt cord.

The
Los Angeles Auto Show has the rare distinction of being
recognized by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs
d'Automobiles (OICA), one of only two in the U.S.
