The band is led by director Daniel S Wood IV “Chip”

The Roots of Music band from New Orleans was next to perform.

They are known as the Marching Crusaders.

Roots of Music uses New Orleans’ musical heritage as a stepping stone to changing lives.

They are an organization that helps at-risk kids through music education, tutoring and mentoring—unlocking their potential as individuals, and building a nationally-recognized marching band along the way.

The Roots of Music Marching Crusaders were selected because of their award-winning style in musical sound and excellence in precision marching.
