PHOTOS: 2013 Rose Parade BandFest at Pasadena City College's Robinson Stadium

The Crusaders were one of approximately 20 outstanding musical groups from across the United States performing in the 2013 Tournament of the Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif.

Approximately 47 million Americans watch the Tournament of Roses Parade on television. It is aired on national channels in 220 nations and territories around the world.

Next up was the Lafayette Band from Lexington, Ky.

The Lafayette High School Band program consists of the marching band, concert bands, jazz band, percussion ensemble, and color guard.

The marching band and color guard begin their demanding schedule with band camp in July and generally rehearse and perform from August through early November.

The bands perform under the direction of Charles M. Smith and Dr. Terry Magee.
