LOS ANGELES --
Volkswagen
debuted the new Eos convertible on the first media day of the 2010
Los Angeles Auto Show. It comes with LED taillights, the Kansas
alloy wheel, electric sliding/tilting glass roof, a multifunction
color display, keyless access locking and starting system and a
radio navigation system. Additional features include a "Climatonic"
air conditioner and the "Dynaudio Confidence" sound system.
Other
features are combined head and side airbags, an active roll-over
protection system, light assist high beam regulation, park assist
and adaptive chassis control.
It
is equipped with a diesel engine that produces 240 lb.-ft. of torque.
The
new Volkswagen Eos is available in 24 different colors. A 10-channel
digital amplifier delivers 600 watts of output to 10 matched loudspeakers.
Many
vehicles come with a sunroof. However, the sunroof on the new Volkswagen
Eos twists and turns.
I think the Eos is a
vehicle that you should definitely give a serious look at the North
American International Auto Show in Detroit. You will be amazed.
