Detroit's Christmas Tree is Installed

Campus Martius Park • Downtown Detroit • Nov. 4, 2010

Detroit's Christmas Tree was installed on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 3.

The tree is a 60-foot Norway Spruce

It has a 38-foot span of branches

The Christmas Tree weighs over 16,000 pounds.

A Connelly crane lifted the tree onto the fountain at Campus Martius Park.

The tree will be decorated with over 18,000 lights.
