Detroit's Christmas Tree is Installed

Campus Martius Park • Downtown Detroit • Nov. 4, 2010

The tree lighting ceremony will take place on Nov. 19 from 5 p.m. to midnight.

The lights for this tree could stretch for more than three miles long.

It will take an entire week to decorate the tree with lights and ornaments.

The Christmas Tree is sponsored by the DTE Energy Foundation.

The ice rink at Campus Martius Park is getting ready for skaters.

The ice rink will hold a pre-season opening on Nov. 12.
