30th Annual Strawberry Festival in Belleville, Michigan offers
something for everyone with three days of nonstop events. The
Strawberry Festival celebrates the strawberry season with free
special events for the entire family, beginning with Two Midways,
beer tent, music and concerts, bingo, crafters, magnificent food,
strawberry treats, a children’s area, Strawberry Queen,
and Prince and Princess pageants. |

Pro Plam Rally Across America |

Purina Pro Plan Rally Across America tour is dedicated to raising
funds and awareness for pet rescue nationwide by providing consumers
with the opportunity to participate in a virtual walk to help
raise money for local pet rescue groups. See them on Main Street
at the Higgerson & Neal parking lot. |

from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The ride for one price will continue
on Friday, June 16th at both locations from 12:00 noon to 5:00

Fantasy
Face Painting |
Derby
& Lovely, making their first appearance at the festival, will
showcase their talents with Fantasy Face Painting near the Main
Stage at the corner of Main and 3rd Streets. Derby & Lovely
are the official fantasy face painters for the Detroit Tigers
and Detroit Lions. With numerous awards, these 2 Clowns have been

Special
musical entertainment groups will be featured from around the
local area. A fantastic variety of entertainment for everyone
will take place in the downtown area on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There
is no shortage of arts and crafts throughout the Festival. Featuring
craftspeople and artisans from all over the state of Michigan,

June 18, in Shady Victory Park at 5 Points 9:00 am - 3:00 pm,
during the 30th Annual Belleville National Strawberry Festival.
Over 30 trophies to give away and hourly drawings for door prizes,
DJ, music trivia and much more! Annual Friday night KICK OFF party
held at Meijer on Belleville Rd, June 16th 6 - 9:00 PM Free soda
& hot dogs to all those who pre-register for the Fathers day

by the Rotary Club, this festival tradition and favorite, is held
at the Belleville High School cafeteria. Fill up on pancakes before

Idol Contest |
Can
you sing? Do you think you have what it takes to become "Strawberry
Idol"? Enter one of three age divisions of competition and
win a studio recording session provided by Talent Live Studios,

Contest will take place Sunday on the Main stage. Entry forms
available online or at the festival office. |

popular exotic animal magician returns. Mark will be on the stage
at the corner of Main and 4th Streets. Scheduled performance times

the convenient free shuttle vans to visit the different locations.
Or take a ride on the American Legion Train for $1. Shuttle and
train runs continuous loop around the festival starting at the
Meijer parking lot on Belleville Road. Shuttle hours: Friday 5pm-11;
Saturday 10am-11pm; Sunday Noon-7pm. |

Above BMX Stunt Team |
returns
by popular demand. See daring bicycle stunts and courageous jumps
at the Frosty Boy on Main Street. Show times are Friday, June
16: 1pm, 4pm, 7pm; Saturday, June 17: 1pm, 4pm, 7pm; Sunday, June
18: 1pm, 3pm, 5pm. The kids will love this!

Nothin’
But Throttle Charity Motorcycle Show |
Saturday
June 17, from 9:30am to 4:30 pm, Nothin’ But Throttle located
at 81 South St. in Belleville will hold its first annual motorcycle
Show. All proceeds will go to Mott’s Children’s Hospital.
Sign up starts at 9:30 am on the day of the show or early sign
up can be done at Nothin’ But Throttle starting May 15th.
Entry fee is $20.00 per bike and all bikes will be judged by the
public. A $1.00 donation or a canned food item will be requested
from each person wishing to judge. Trophies will be awarded to
class winners. Classes are: Stock Cruiser, Custom, Vintage, Sport
bike & hot quad. All makes and models welcome! For more information

City of Belleville Fire Department |
will
be at Main and Second Streets with a few tables and chairs for
visitors to sit at and eat or just to rest. While there you can
view a video of the Belleville Fire Department performing their
training practices and responding to fire and rescue calls or
buy raffle tickets to win a 52” big screen tv and autographs
of your favorite sports players including the Lions, Tigers, Red
Wings, Nascar and UM & MSU. |

The
3rd Annual Waterball Competition |
between
the Belleville Fire Department and several other neighboring fire
departments will be held on Saturday, June 17, immediately following
the Belleville Strawberry Festival Parade, at Main and Third Street.
It is an exciting event to watch. |

Friends of Michigan Animal Rescue |
will offer pets
for adoption under the canopy at the Higgerson-Neal Funeral Home
located on Main Street. Stop by to learn about pet care, visit
with the rescued dogs and cats and bring home a new best friend!
